 Mission

Eagle Mountain Consortium oversees the establishment of a recovery community, and groyping of economic support elements, that will promote opportunity for a "new chance" benefiting returning citizens so they might live healthy, productive, lives.

 Vision

Our vision is to provide for the needs of a thriving community we have named, Eagle Mountain Recovery Communities; a place where returning citizens will find welcome, safety, and encouragement.

We further envision the establishment of a rehabilitative center where all residents have the opportunity to learn new trades, continue educational pursuits, and participate in Bible-based self sufficiency studies; all while learning and growing in their sobriety through the Celebrate Recovery program which, itself, is the foundation of recovery-based support at Eagle Mountain operations as a whole.

 Values

  • We believe that all Americans deserve to live in a safe community regardless of past mistakes, and despite societal pressures to the contrary.
  • Homelessness is a problem for returning citizens. We are thus committed to ensure that those we encounter will be properly housed in this community, and develop the wherewithal to afford a home when they choose to re-enter  their communities..
  • We strive to blur the tired cliche "second chance", believing instead that even those on their third, fourth, sixth and so on, possess an inalienable right to a "New Chance".
  • We affirm that only through voluntary education and career development, can returning men and women turn their new chance into success; blotting out the solitude of societal condemnation, spotlighting each new productive member of society.

Our Board of Directors

The founders of the Eagle Mountain Consortium, and its collection of reentry efforts, are proud to introduce its Officers and Board of Directors. Each has their own unique experiences and background to offer. We are thrilled to have them.

Chris Tingirides, Founder and CEO

Chris Tingirides, Founder and CEO

Chris is a proud veteran...

...of the United States army. He served his country for three years, discharging in 1980, going to work as a heavy equipment operator. In 1989 he founded Storage Relocation Services, a trucking company that he subsequently grew into a national brand with multiple offices and revenue over $7,000,000.

After his arrest, he was led to Celebrate Recovery which changed his life forever. In prison, he continued in recovery through the Celebrate Recovery program, helping others to find the same peace in Christ that he enjoys today.

After witnessing the 70% recidivism rates and never ending relapse rates of prisoners, he realized a three pronged approach was needed; one that provided housing, jobs, and Celebrate Recovery. In 2011 the dream of Eagle Mountain Recovery Communities was born and, with God’s help, everyone involved in the effort has never looked back.

Mike Allison, Co-Founder

Mike Allison, Co-Founder

Mike Allison...

...likes to help. He spent the majority of his career in the services sector. From laundromats to limousines--and a few businesses in between--Mike seems to gravitate towards opportunities to help others.

In prison, Mike took jobs where he worked face-to-face with others. Serving as a law library clerk helped him to understand people's frustration with the legal system; working as a tutor helped him to have the deepest compassion for those less fortunate in terms of scholastic ability. Among his Chaffey College peers, Mike is called "the grammar guru", "editor in chief", or "punctuation Nazi" because of his favorite pastime of editing.

It was in 2015 that Mike met Chris. While Mike worked daily as a tutor in a tiny office, Chris was always there studying. Eagle Mountain was a topic of discussion on most days--"who could be helped", "how would it be accomplished" and, most of all, "the means it would employ to avoid the failure so many similar efforts see their first few years".

Blending Chris's attention to detail and Mike's tenacity to see the big picture, the two set out to set into stone what is now Eagle Mountain Recovery Communities. Neither of them take the credit, however, giving it all to Jesus. They'll tell you that they're just passengers on a trip foreordained by Management, specifically by "LBJ".

Ray Melberg, Co-Founder, Vice President, Board Member

Ray Melberg, Co-Founder, Vice President, Board Member

Throughout his career...

...Raymond served in a variety of administrative, organizational, and technical positions of leadership. He graduated from Indiana University in 1976, earning a BA and MBA in Administration and Management. His education prepared him for assignments in the US Air Force where he rose to Lt. Col in ICBM operations, squadron command and administration. His 23 year career concluded with aerospace systems planning, testing, budgeting, and development.

As civilian, Ray turned to nationally-based risk management and insurance consulting, working for 20 years in a variety of industries, from agriculture to heavy manufacturing. In these positions he employed methods such as risk analysis, identification, remediation and elimination to reduce losses for manufacturers resulting from personal injuries, industrial illness, and unsafe practices.

As a co-founder of Eagle Mountain Recovery Communities, Ray now serves on the formation team, working to establish those policies and procedures inherent to the successful launch and operation of a reentry organization.

Gregory Bluitt Sr, Board Member

Gregory Bluitt Sr, Board Member

Gregory Bluitt Sr...

...was invited to sit on the EMRC board of directors on August 21, 2020. Mr. Bluitt (better known as "Brother Greg) brings a plethora of life experience to the organization. His training and work at Chevron and Alta Bates Summit Medical Center gave him the hands-on and problem solving skills needed to serve with confidence.

Most important, Brother Greg brings with him a level of insight into all things related to addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, the lifestyle that takes men to the edge, and the deep surrender required to make it back. And it is his love of the Lord and undying compassion for others which rounds out but a few of the positive attributes that led to the Board's unanimous decision.
